Dressed only in their underwear and provocatively holding weapons for the camera, they appear to be having a great time posing for photographs in their barracks room.
But four Israeli female soldiers have now been disciplined by the country's military for their 'unbecoming behaviour' after the raunchy pictures were posted on Facebook.
The
images, published on Israeli news website Walla, showed the soldiers

In another, five women posed in what
appeared to be a barracks room, dressed only in helmets and a small
amount of combat equipment.
Walla, which blurred the faces of the women, said they were new recruits stationed on a base in southern Israel.
The
incident is the latest in a string of episodes involving young Israeli
soldiers on social media that have drawn reprimand from the military.
In
a
statement, the military said the women had acted in a manner showing
'unbecoming behaviour' for Israeli soldiers, adding: 'The commanding
officers disciplined the soldiers as they saw fitting.'

The statement did not
identify the soldiers or give any details about the punishments.
Military officials said the base conducted educational lectures to keep
soldiers from repeating the offence.
Several
times in recent years, the Israeli military has disciplined soldiers
for what were considered improper postings in social media sites.
Most Jewish Israeli men and women are required to serve in the military, starting at age 18.

Theo hãng tin AP, thông báo kỷ luật vừa được quân đội Israel
đưa ra hôm qua. Đây là vụ mới nhất sau hàng loạt các vụ bê bối của
các binh sỹ trẻ của nước này liên quan đến mạng xã hội.
Trang tin Walla của Israel cho biết những người bị kỷ luật đều là tân
binh, đóng quân tại một căn cứ ở miền Nam Israel. Trong một bức ảnh,
những nữ binh sỹ này đã cởi bỏ quân phục để khoe bộ đồ lót bên trong.
Trong một bức ảnh khác 5 phụ nữ chụp ảnh ngay trong phòng, chỉ mặc
mỗi đồ lót, đội mũ sắt và đeo một số công cụ chiến đấu nhỏ. Gương mặt
của họ trong ảnh đều được làm mờ.
Trong một thông báo được phát đi hôm qua, quân đội Israel khẳng định
những phụ nữ trẻ này đã thể hiện “thái độ không phù hợp” của người lính
Israel. “Các sỹ quan chỉ huy đã kỷ luật các binh sỹ này khi họ biết được
sự việc”, thông báo cho biết.
Tuy nhiên thông báo không cho biết danh tính của các
binh sỹ cũng như chi tiết về hình phạt. Các quan chức quân đội cho biết
căn cứ trên đã có những bài giáo huấn để khiến các binh sỹ không lặp lại
cách hành xử này.
Những năm gần đây, quân đội Israel đã kỷ luật nhiều binh sỹ vì có
những hình ảnh không phù hợp đăng tải trên các mạng xã hội. Năm 2010,
một nữ binh sỹ đã bị quay phim đang nhảy đầy khiêu gợi cạnh một tù nhân
nữ Palestine bị bịt mắt. Đoạn phim sau đó được tung lên Youtube.
Mới đầu năm nay, một binh sỹ khác đã bị cảnh cáo vì đăng tải những
lời lẽ chống người Palestine trên Twitter cùng nhiều bức ảnh anh này
đang khỏa thân cùng một khẩu súng.
