Turkish divers rush to save 'drowning woman' who turned out to be an inflatable sex doll

When rescuers in Turkey thought they had saved a woman from drowning in the Black Sea they must have been a little deflated.
Instead of a swimmer in distress, they pulled something unexpected out of the water - a blow-up sex doll.
The beach-goers who raised the alarm had got it wrong and called the emergency services thinking a woman was going under.

Within minutes police cordoned off the scene and a rescue operation launched.
Having sealed off a wide section of the beach, officers in the northern Samsun province sent a team of divers into the water.
But, Turkey's Milliyet newspaper reported yesterday, the team quickly discovered the truth.
Then having realised the error they deflated before throwing in the garbage, the paper said. It was not clear where the blow-up doll had come from.
The Black Sea is a key tourism destination for Turks and also sees busy international maritime shipping traffic.
The incident happened on the Black Sea coast in the Samsun district of northern Turkey
