The infamous mother of four who admitted to running a prostitution ring in New York has been sentenced to six months in jail followed by five years probation.
U.S. prosecutors said Anna Gristina, a native of Edinburgh, Scotland, living in Monroe, New York, was the madam of a Manhattan sex service for 15 years.
The 45-year-old mother first claimed she ran a dating service, but later admitted to the single charge of promoting prostitution as part of a plea deal at Manhattan Supreme Court on September 26.
